Nancy Dixon

My role as an illustrator based in Salisbury requires me to prepare a wide range of illustrations for reports and publications including using computer programmes such as AutoCAD, GIS and Adobe CCS in conjunction with more traditional illustration techniques. 

I am particularly interested in finds illustration and preparing scale drawings of artefacts such as pottery, metalwork and worked flint. I find studying these objects in such close detail fascinating, identifying traits of the manufacturing process and the individual who made them. My job allows me to combine my interests in both art and archaeology. 

Outside of work I am a keen cyclist and enjoy exploring the countryside on my bike.
